ASSUMPTION COLLEGE IS THE HOME OF THE FIRST LIVERPOOL FC ACADEMY IN VICTORIA AND THE FIRST SCHOOL NATIONALLY TO OFFER A HIGH-PERFORMANCE SOCCER SCHOOL PROGRAM DELIVERED BY LFC INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY AUSTRALIA IN 2023

The Vision for the new high-performance soccer program at Assumption is to use those combined resources to create an environment that mirrors the one experienced by players on a high-performance pathway in the UK.

 

This means not only a high quality and authentic LFC football program developing players technically, tactically and physically but also input into social and mental development, career pathways and life skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership.

 

It will not only be players and students that benefit from this partnership. There will also be opportunities for local coaches to be comprehensively trained and accredited by LFC on this project. Developing local coaches through our education and development opportunities is a central component of our approach.

LFC International Academy offers young fans around the world an opportunity to learn to play The Liverpool Way, developing participants both on and off the pitch. The Liverpool Way is a philosophy that runs throughout LFC and will be implemented into the Assumption College high-performance soccer school program.
