To deliver the most authentic club coaching programme to young players around the world.

LFC Introduction

Liverpool Football Club was founded in 1892 and is now one of the most recognisable sporting institutions globally. The Club has won 6 European Cups, 19 domestic league titles, 7 FA Cups and more than 20 additional major domestic and European honours.

Based at the historic Anfield Stadium in Liverpool the team is led by FIFA Best Men’s Coach Arne Slot. His squad includes world class talent and home grown players who reflect the Club’s values on and off the pitch.

LFC has a strong history of developing young footballers. Many Academy graduates have become long-term professionals at the highest level including Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

LFC International Academy

 

LFC International Academy is the global youth coaching arm of Liverpool FC. It delivers the same coaching curriculum and training methods used with young players at the Academy in Liverpool. Through this approach the Academy teaches participants around the world how to play The Liverpool Way.

Liverpool Football Club International Academy Australia is an official partner of the Club. Our programmes combine the world renowned football education of Liverpool FC with the facilities expertise and resources of the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE). Through this partnership we are proud to bring the full LFC Academy experience to Australia.


Across the world, Liverpool FC International Academies teach players how to play The Liverpool Way. Now in Australia our coaching team works directly with LFC Academy staff in the UK to ensure that every session reflects the standards and philosophy of the Club.

 

Our Coaching Approach

  • We aim to develop every player who attends our programmes.
  • We teach players how to grow on and off the pitch with life skills such as communication teamwork problem solving and decision making.
  • We deliver an authentic club coaching programme that brings the LFC Academy philosophy to young Australian players.
  • We focus on the technical tactical physical psychological and social areas of player development using the LFC model.
