St Joseph’s College Geelong Named as First Regional LFC International Academy High Performance School
This expansion will see St Joseph’s College become the home of the first Liverpool FC Academy Australia in regional Victoria and only the third school nationally to offer a high-performance soccer school program delivered in partnership with LFC International Academy in 2023.
In addition to the high-performance soccer program, the partnership with St Joseph’s College will see the school host a range of Liverpool FC community training and holiday programs available to all aspiring players in the region.
St Joseph’s principal Tony Paatsch said it was exciting to be the first school in the Greater Geelong region to partner with Liverpool FC International Academy Australia.
“We are thrilled that our students will have access to a world-class curriculum via this world-class soccer program,” Mr Paatsch continued.

LFC International Academy offers young fans around the world an opportunity to learn to play The Liverpool Way, developing participants both on and off the pitch. The Liverpool Way is a philosophy that runs throughout LFC and will be implemented into the Salesian College high-performance soccer school program.
