Terms and Conditions

 

Liverpool FC International Academy Australia is a partnership program between Liverpool Football Club and the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE).

 

Liverpool FC International Academy Australia delivers a range of development programs, both solely and with exclusive partner schools, authentic to the developmental methodology and philosophy of Liverpool Football Club. We strive to deliver programs in safe, inclusive and enjoyable environments in line with our values and our desire to be a leader in developing children through football.

 

These Terms and Conditions set out your obligations to us so that these objectives can be achieved.

 

Parents registering players in our programs agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and associated policies, including but not limited to our Code of Conduct and Parent Responsibilities.

1. References

 

1.1 References to LFCIA, we, us, or our refer to ACPE Football Academy Pty Ltd (ABN: 73 647 696 446) trading as Liverpool FC International Academy NSW and Liverpool FC International Academy Australia.

1.2 References to programs mean any program, clinic, camp, event, course, or training session delivered by LFCIA.

1.3 References to parents include the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of any registered participant.

1.4 References to player, child, or participant mean the registered child participating in our programs.

1.5 References to staff include any coaches, support staff, contractors, or agents involved in the delivery or administration of programs.

1.6 References to approved third parties include any institution partnered with LFCIA, including ACPE and Liverpool Football Club.

 

2. The Program

 

2.1 LFCIA delivers a range of football development programs utilising authentic Liverpool Football Club methodology.

2.2 Program details including venue, duration, dates, times and cost will be advertised on our website.

2.3 All sessions are subject to change due to weather, programming needs or minimum participant numbers. See the Extreme Weather Policy for details.

2.4 LFCIA reserves the right to change program details at any time.

2.5 Parents agree to comply with all policies published by LFCIA.

2.6 LFCIA reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or cancel a registration due to breach of these Terms.

 

3. Payment of Registration Fees

 

3.1 Full liability for registration fees applies once the agreement is executed.

3.2 Payment is required on the nominated date, either in full or through an approved payment plan.

3.3 If a payment plan is used, all instalments must be paid according to the plan.

3.4 Prices include GST.

 

4. Confirmation of Registration

 

4.1 A confirmation email will be sent after payment.

4.2 If confirmation is not received within 2 days, parents must contact LFCIA.

 

5. Active Kids Vouchers (NSW)

 

5.1 LFCIA is an Active Kids provider where applicable.

5.2 Active Kids vouchers may be applied to eligible programs only.

5.3 Incorrect, invalid or misused vouchers may result in invoicing for the discounted amount.

5.4 Active Kids vouchers cannot be refunded, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

 

6. Cancellation and Refunds

 

6.1 Before Program Commences

Refunds may be considered if a written request is received 48 hours prior to commencement. If approved, refunds exclude kit cost, a $50 admin fee and any transaction fees. Active Kids vouchers are non‑refundable.

6.2 After Program Commences

Credits may be offered for future programs. Refunds are only considered in exceptional circumstances. Medical credits require supporting evidence. Refund calculations exclude kit cost, admin fees and transaction fees.

6.3 If LFCIA Cancels Sessions or Programs

No refunds for individual sessions cancelled due to weather. Credits may be issued if multiple sessions are lost.

6.4 Cancellation by LFCIA

LFCIA may cancel registration for breach of conduct, policy violation or unpaid fees. No refunds or credits apply in these circumstances.

 

7. Gift Cards

 

7.1 General

LFCIA Gift Cards may be purchased in nominated fixed amounts through the Liverpool FC International Academy Australia website. Upon purchase, the purchaser will receive an email containing a unique voucher code.

7.2 Permitted Use

Gift Cards: – may only be applied to registration fees for Liverpool FC International Academy Australia programs and events; – cannot be applied to programs delivered outside Australia; and – cannot be used to purchase merchandise or other products unless expressly stated.

7.3 Expiry

Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused balance after expiry is forfeited.

7.4 Refunds

Non‑refundable except where no eligible program was available during the entire 12‑month validity period. Refunds are not considered when: – suitable programs were available but not selected; – scheduling did not suit the participant; – the participant chose not to register; – there was a change of mind.

Approved refunds apply only to the unused Gift Card value.

7.5 Voucher Code Responsibility

Parents/recipients are responsible for safeguarding voucher codes. LFCIA is not responsible for: – lost or stolen codes; – misuse; – unauthorised redemption.

7.6 Partial Use and Balances

Any remaining balance stays active until expiry. No refunds or cash alternatives apply.

7.7 Restrictions

Gift Cards: – cannot be redeemed for cash; – cannot be retrospectively applied to existing registrations; – cannot be transferred or converted for alternative purposes.

Gift Cards do not guarantee access to any specific program.

 

8. LFC IA Player Training Tops (School Holiday Camps)

 

8.1 General

  • Training Tops may be purchased for School Holiday Camps only.
  • Training Tops form part of the player kit for these Terms.
  • Training Tops are not available for other programs unless expressly stated.

8.2 Fulfilment

Training Tops are distributed in person at the Holiday Camp attended by the participant. No postage is provided.

8.3 Sizing Responsibility

Parents acknowledge: – Training Tops are custom-printed to order; – size selection is final; – the Adidas Size Guide must be reviewed before registration; – LFCIA cannot offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect size selection.

8.4 No Refunds or Exchanges

Once purchased within registration, Training Tops are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

8.5 Incorrect Size on the Day

  • LFCIA cannot exchange or replace incorrect sizes at camp.
  • Families may privately arrange exchanges at their discretion.

8.6 Requests to Amend Size Prior to Camp

  • Requests may be submitted before camp commencement.
  • Approval is not guaranteed and depends on supplier production timelines.

8.7 Post‑Registration Purchases

Training Tops cannot be purchased after registration and are not available as standalone items.

 

9. Privacy

 

The personal information and player data collected by us is primarily for the purpose of organising and delivering our programs but may also be used for marketing purposes by ACPE and its associated businesses. Your personal information will be managed in accordance with the Liverpool FC Australia and ACPE privacy policies which comply with relevant privacy laws.

 

Your personal information may be disclosed to Liverpool Football Club for the purpose of sending you club information and special offers. Liverpool Football Club will manage your personal information in accordance with their Privacy Terms and Conditions at www.liverpoolfc.com.

 

During participation in the program, participants may be photographed or video recorded by us or approved third parties. By participating, you consent to the use of such images on websites or social media of Liverpool FC Australia, partner schools, Liverpool FC, ACPE, or in marketing materials including flyers, newsletters, videos and brochures.

 

You agree to be contacted by Liverpool FC Australia regarding future events and clinics, and by ACPE regarding future education opportunities.

 

10. Health and Safety

 

Parents are required to provide accurate information regarding any health issues or medical conditions of the participant. This information is necessary to ensure reasonable adjustments can be made and to avoid unnecessary risks. Additional information may be requested depending on the details provided.

 

In the event that the participant requires medical attention during any clinic or event, and subject to any prior written notice from a parent or guardian, you authorise us to arrange appropriate and necessary treatment, including first aid or ambulance services.

 

11. Liability of Injury & Disclaimer

 

11.1 By submitting a registration, the participant and their parent/guardian acknowledge and agree that they: – voluntarily choose to participate in the program; – understand the program may involve strenuous physical activity and accept the inherent risks, including injury or death; – have read and accepted our Health, Safety and Risk policy; – authorise LFCIA to administer first aid or call an ambulance in the event of illness or injury; – understand that LFCIA does not provide personal accident insurance, and that any medical or ambulance costs incurred are the responsibility of the participant or parent/guardian; – understand it is a condition of registration that participants have their own private insurance and/or ambulance cover.

 

11.2 To the full extent permitted by law, you and the participant release and discharge Liverpool FC Australia, ACPE, the Liverpool Football Club, authorised third parties and their employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability for loss, claims, demand, damage, injury or expense, that the participant or you suffer or may suffer as a result of participation in the program, due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence.
