Playing the Liverpool Way
Liverpool Football Club is recognised globally as one of the world’s most respected football clubs. We take pride in creating the best possible environment for the development of young players as footballers and as people.
Our Values sit at the heart of our players, staff and supporters and are recognised around the world. This is what sets us apart from other clubs. Playing The Liverpool Way was shown clearly during the 2019 Champions League semi final when a seemingly impossible comeback became reality through determination, team spirit and commitment. That result became the catalyst for lifting the Champions League trophy and later becoming Premier League and World Club Champions.
For more than 60 years the Club has been at the forefront of British and European football and has won multiple championships and European titles. There is a long tradition of developing top class players especially through our own Academy. Trent Alexander Arnold is a strong example of a home grown player who has been nominated for the Ballon d’Or and has won the Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
